DM-7X Digital Drum Kit
The DM-7X is designed for drummers seeking high-end features without compromising performance. It features three 8" tom pads and a 10" snare, each equipped with industry-standard Remo® mesh heads for authentic feel and responsiveness. All snares and toms are velocity-sensitive and feature dual triggers for head and rim, allowing a broad range of expressive sounds with every strike.
Cymbal pads include a 12" hi-hat, two 12" crashes, and a 14" ride, all mounted on a curved, adjustable rack stand with lockable clamps and quick-release collars for easy positioning of crash cymbal booms. The heavy-duty kick pedal with integrated pad provides a natural bass drum feel, while a sturdy, free-standing hi-hat pedal with extended floor supports ensures maximum stability during play.
All triggers connect to the central digital sound module, which offers 30 preset kits and 18 customizable user slots. Velocity response for each drum and cymbal can be finely adjusted within the module, delivering a personalized and accurate playing experience. Parameters are easily tweaked by striking the respective pad and adjusting settings via the onboard rotary controls, which also provide access to various special effects.
Additional features include a selection of backing tracks, a self-record function, and a drum coach mode to aid solo practice. The module connects to PC or Mac via USB for seamless integration with digital audio workstations and firmware updates.
Stereo outputs via L+R 6.3 mm jacks connect to PA systems, while a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack offers silent practice. A 5-pin DIN MIDI out is also included for triggering external sound modules.
The DM-7X blends the natural feel of an acoustic kit with the versatility and functionality of a digital instrument, making it ideal for drummers at any skill level.
