The VN2000 is a powerful and flexible mobile PA system consisting of four components: two Ventis 206A active speakers and two Subline 112SA active subwoofers. These components are bundled together with variable-height connecting poles, allowing for easy setup and breakdown into smaller configurations when needed.
The Ventis 206A is a remarkable active speaker featuring two 6.5-inch low-frequency woofers and a 1-inch B&C high-frequency compression driver arranged vertically. It is built with a solid 15mm birch ply enclosure finished in scratch-resistant paint and equipped with a full-face grille. Despite its sturdy build, it weighs only 12kg and includes an integrated handle for easy transportation. The Ventis 206A features M10 suspension points for permanent installations, and it has a 35mm top-hat underneath for mounting on the included sub pole or a standalone tripod.
The rear panel of the Ventis 206A houses the amp module, spanning the width of the cabinet, providing 700W RMS of low-frequency amplification and 200W RMS of high-frequency amplification. The LF (low-frequency) amplification is Class D, while the HF (high-frequency) amplification is Class H/AB. Power is delivered via a powerCON TRUE1 connector, and an AC loop-out is included for daisy-chaining power to another cabinet.
For input options, the Ventis 206A offers a single XLR/¼-inch jack combi socket that accepts both LINE or MIC level signals. Additionally, there are a pair of RCA phono connections for direct connection to an external MP3 player, for example. Each input has its own dedicated level control, enabling the connection and mixing of a microphone and background music without the need for a separate mixer. An XLR output socket is also provided for looping the audio signal to another cabinet.
The built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor), accessible via a large backlit LCD display and control dial, allows for precise sound customization. The DSP features options such as delay (0-10 meters) for conference work, a Hi-Pass filter for running the box full-range or focusing power on hi/mid frequencies when connected to a sub.
The Subline 112SA is an active subwoofer that has received high praise for its compact yet powerful design. It features a 12-inch woofer with a 2.5-inch coil, delivering impressive punch and high sound pressure levels despite its small size. The amp module provides 700W RMS and includes a built-in DSP with eight preset options. The subwoofer also offers an 8-step delay control and a Phase push button for further sound adjustment.
The Subline 112SA is visually matched to the Ventis 206A, featuring a birch-ply cabinet with a scratch-resistant paint finish and a full-face grille. Ergonomic handles on the side make it easy to lift, and its weight of just 23kg contributes to its portability.
The VN2000 system is ideal for various applications, including conference work, ceremonies, speeches, and events ranging from small to medium-sized gatherings of up to 200 people. It is particularly well-suited for mobile DJs. The VN2000 was recognized as the best new PA system in 2019 by ProMobile Magazine.
