Designed for booths where space is limited, the mixer delivers uncompromising sound control and expressive flexibility. Advanced effects, including upgraded filters and Send FX, let you shape and personalise your mix in any environment.

For even greater freedom, the DJM-V5 features a built-in SonicLink transmitter powered by AlphaThetas proprietary ultra-low-latency wireless technology. Pair it with HDJ-F10 headphones to monitor wirelessly with minimal latency, unlocking a seamless and flexible performance experience without the constraints of cables.

Professional control in a compact design
Mix intuitively on the 3-channel DJM-V5, even in tight DJ booths. Borrowing the layout, tactile response, and core features of the DJM-V10—including a 4-band EQ, compressor, filter, and Send FX—the DJM-V5 achieves a footprint approximately 30% smaller.
Long-throw 60 mm channel faders (inherited from the DJM-V10-LF) allow precise level control, while the new Soft Mix Curve mode subtly attenuates high frequencies when lowering a fader, resulting in smoother, more natural transitions.

High-resolution, warm sound quality
Building on the acclaimed sonic character of the DJM-V10, the DJM-V5 delivers clear, balanced mixes that resist saturation—even with layered audio sources. Studio-grade 96 kHz / 64-bit DSP processing is paired with high-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converters from ESS Technology. Every component has been meticulously selected and tested in real-world club environments to produce a refined, immersive sound with enhanced depth, clarity, and spatial definition.

Expanded spatial expression with Send FX
Add texture and movement using six expressive effects: Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer, Tape Echo, PingPong, and Echo-Verb. Each channel includes a dedicated send knob for intuitive control.
The time knob features a unique tactile response depending on the effect:

• Tape Echo, PingPong, Echo-Verb: BPM-synced clicks from 1/16 note to 1 beat for precise rhythmic control

• Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer: Smooth, click-free adjustments for fluid, detailed modulation

Advanced filtering for creative sound shaping
Each channel includes a dedicated filter knob with three selectable modes: low-pass, high-pass, and the new cross-pass filter, debuting on an AlphaTheta mixer. Cross-pass filtering preserves low frequencies while gently shaping mids and highs, allowing you to add movement to vocals or melodies without losing energy—and opening the door to new performance styles.

Built-in SonicLink for ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring
The DJM-V5 is the first DJ mixer to feature an integrated SonicLink transmitter. Pair instantly with compatible headphones such as the HDJ-F10 for stable, ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring at the press of a button. Future headphone models will support even faster pairing via a dedicated touch area on the front panel of the mixer.
