As part of their assault on the digital DJ market, Allen & Heath are very close to launching their highly anticipated and insanely powerful Xone:K2 MIDI controller. This compact unit boasts unbelievable compatibility with all types of software even though it is primarily aimed at the DJ market. The company boast that ‘if it can receive MIDI data it can take commands from K2’ so will be compatible with not only your favourite DJ software or DAW, but also VJ software, light control software and any other software that you can think of. It has 52 controls that can provide up to 171 commands over 3 layers meaning you can set it up to the exact way you work. Add to this a 4 channel soundcard, Allen & Heaths fabulous X:Link system (to connect multiple devices together) and a sleek minimal design that is bolstered by Allen & Heaths renowned build quality this is definitely one of the most exciting controllers released this year! The K2 comes bundled with a padded case that doubles as a stand and available soon for £199 including free delivery, be one of the first people to receive this highly anticipated and much sought after MIDI controller
