DM-8 Digital Drum Kit
The DM-8 is NU-X’s flagship digital drum kit, engineered without compromise to deliver the most responsive, accurate, and authentic playing experience for even the most demanding drummers.
Every pad is equipped with industry-standard Remo® mesh heads for natural rebound and feel. The centrepiece is a 14" snare with a 3-point trigger and dedicated rim sensor, mounted on a fully adjustable, dual-braced tripod stand. Three additional pads serve as high, mid, and floor toms, each with rim-shot triggering for expanded expression.
The DM-8’s unique 10" mesh bass drum pad includes a pedal and angled front brace, ensuring realistic kick resistance and rock-solid stability. Cymbals include a 12" hi-hat on an articulated pedal stand with motion sensor for precise open, closed, and half-open response; two 12" crash cymbals with bow and edge zones; and a 14" ride cymbal featuring bow, edge, and bell trigger zones. All pads—except the snare and hi-hat—are mounted on a sturdy curved rack with fully adjustable height and tilt.
The DM-8 control module offers deep sound editing, effects, and configuration via a multi-control interface and menu-driven colour TFT display. Built-in tools include a rhythm coach, jam-along tracks, and options for recording or playing back WAV audio via USB flash drive. Bluetooth® streaming enables wireless playback from external devices.
Connectivity is comprehensive: USB Type-B for direct digital recording and MIDI integration with PC or Mac DAWs, 5-pin DIN MIDI out for triggering external modules, stereo/mono outputs for PA or amp connection, auxiliary input, and a dedicated headphone output for monitoring.
